Best Films of the Decade...

Well, it seems my artistic tastes are seasoned well. Top movie critic Roger Ebert named Synecdoche, New York his favorite film of the decade. See, I told you there was something about that film. I may never be able to watch it again as it haunts me still, but I am a better human being, artist and thinker because of it.

And then, the film that is on the majority of critic's lists somewhere in their top ten films of the decade (often in the Number 1 position) is my all-time favorite film, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. If you haven't seen Eternal Sunshine, I will hop on a plane and sit and watch it with you, because:

YOU MUST SEE ETERNAL SUNSHINE BEFORE YOU DIE!

I don't think I've ever used all caps to address you, dear reader, but there's a first time for everything. Okay, enough said.

I really couldn't agree with this entry more.

I just finished Synecdoche for the third time. Phew.
