To Dance With Snowflakes

There are dishes to be washed
Floors to be mopped
Clothes to be cleaned

Outside my window
Snow is falling
Flakes of white
Inviting me for a dance
Who am I to turn away?

There are prelim questions to be answered,
Followed by more answers,
And more answers.

Outside my window
Snow is falling
Flakes of white
Inviting me for a dance.
I must close the curtains and turn away.*

*(until tomorrow night.)

There is more work to be done
Reports to be written
Papers to be graded

Outside my window - again
Snow is falling - again
Flakes of white
Inviting me for a dance - again
Who am I to turn them down - again?

Yup...and although, washing dishes hold profound moments so does the call of snowflakes for a dance and the green patures to play...come and and follow the day, they say... when we follow what holds heart and meaning in these moments, seems we are inspired to accomplish more fully what is required...huh? Your poem is lovely tall penguin :-)
