Yet Another Serendipitous Occurence...

I've just been hired by a family to help out with their slightly Autistic son. When I went for the interview, I found out that this little boy turns 3 two days before I do! And he's speech-delayed. So, it seems us 3 year-olds will be learning language together. Interesting.

My nephew is autistic. From what I've heard, every day is an adventure. Good luck, and congrats. :)

Thanks anon. I have no doubt it will be an adventure and the luck is much appreciated. I'm sure I'll be needing it. ;)

Just keep in mind, you can spend hours on end turning over rocks to see what's living underneath.

Hahaha, at first glance, I thought this was a response to my Quadratic Equation thread and took your statement to be quite philosophical. On this post, it's just about turning over rocks to see what's underneath. Context is everything. :)

Yes, he really likes being outside so I imagine our summer will be spent enjoying exploring nature as much as possible, which suits me just fine.

I'd be afraid to turn over some of the rocks in my mind and see what's underneath.. :P

But sounds like it'll be a good summer, being outside is awesome. Unless you're scrambling through rocks on the side of the mountain at 4am in a downpour and somewhat hungover. That, not so much fun.
