Les Miserables

Les Miserables is my favorite musical production. I have had the pleasure of seeing it performed many times (with Colm Wilkinson being my favorite Jean Valjean). Last evening, I was blessed to watch a theatre group consisting of talented young people, 19 and under, perform this musical. And I am in awe of the raw talent I saw unfold before me. It makes my heart leap to see anyone living their passion, exploring their craft. But there was a special joy that welled up in my heart last night as I watched these young people perform a challenging and classic musical.

The fate of our society depends on the creativity of our young. We all know budding talent in our own communities. May each one of us support and nurture these young artists.

I absolutely adore the music from Les Mis, but have never seen it! What a travesty.

I've read the book, but not seen the musical yet. Someday...

And you're one of those young artists deserving our support and nurturing. :)

Okay, both of you, promise me that one day, if given the opportunity, you will see Les Miz. You will LOVE it!

Thank you for this. I think we all have a young artist sitting in our soul waiting to be nurtured. How could it be otherwise?
